  • What are your hours of operation?
    • Elev8 Centers of New York has both Inpatient and Outpatient services.
    • The inpatient location is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. However, our admissions department is open from Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM, with our last admissions appointment being at 4PM. We are open Saturday-Sunday from 8AM-2PM, with our last admissions appointment being at 12:30PM. We are open during all the holidays.
  • How long is the admissions process?
    • While it is impossible to predict an exact time frame for admissions appointments, we strongly encourage one to make an appointment to expedite the admissions process. Elev8 Centers believes that patient health and accommodation is of the upmost importance, each level of care may require different admissions procedures, which can impact the duration of the admissions process. Typically, patients do not wait more than 15 minutes to begin their admissions process.
  • Are family visits allowed?
    • Family visitation is permitted only when scheduled with onsite clinical staff. There are no formal visitation hours or open family session times at either location.
  • What should you bring to treatment?
    • Individuals planning to attend the inpatient treatment programs at either our Rehab or Detox level of care should bring the following items:
    • 4-7 Days of Clothing
    • Sanitary Items (this will be supplied when requested)
    • Flip Flops
    • Books or literature
    • Journals
    • Prescribed Medications
    • Insurance Information with their insurance card
    • Valid Photo Identification
    • Items not to bring:
    • Large sums of money
    • Valuables
    • Electronics of any kind, we provide each participant their own TV
    • Inappropriate Materials of any kind (i.e. drug paraphilia, inappropriate clothing)
    • Any alcohol based product (these are not allowed on premise)
    • At the outpatient location please just bring Valid Photo Identification, Insurance Card and Insurance information.
  • What Insurance do you accept?
    • Elev8 Centers accepts a wide variety of insurance carriers. Each of our locations accepts a variety of insurances. Please review the admissions section of the location you intend to participate in, or for more information call 1-800-Elev8-Me.
  • What Treatment Services do you offer?
    • Elev8 Centers offers a wide variety of services. Please view our different levels of service, which include Inpatient Detox Services, Inpatient Rehabilitation Services, and Outpatient Services. Details on treatment types and services will be provided there.
  • How do I know if treatment is needed?
    • Call our admissions representatives and they will provide you with guidance on deciding if treatment is the right option. Please call.
  • How can I learn more about addiction?
    • Feel free to view our education webinar or visit the New York State OASAS website, which provides education on addiction.
  • What qualifications do your employees have?
    • Our clinical and medical team all are licensed in the State of New York. We have a wide variety of healthcare professionals working on our team comprised of: Medical Doctors, Nurse Practitioners, Pharmacist, Nutritionist, Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, Licensed Masters Social Workers, Licensed Mental Health Counselors, Certified Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselors, Certified Recreational Counselors, Licensed Creative Arts Therapist, Certified Nurse’s Aides and Phlebotomist.
  • Do you provide transportation?
    • We provide pick-up transportation services for those who need assistance with travel. We pick-up in all five boroughs of New York City, and if scheduled other areas in the New York City Tri-State Area. Please call for transportation services. Please note we are also accessible by train and bus.
